Summerlees Cottage Sutton Forest

From the moment you drive up the winding road to Summerlees, you are mesmerised with the beauty of the property and the views. We stayed in the renovated cottage - it has everything you need! It is decorated beautifully and I have taken photos so that I can use some ideas when redecorating my own home! Having two small children, we are very particular when staying away - cleanliness is my priority and Summerlees Cottage was as clean as my own home! We had poached eggs in the morning - the children would go to the chook shed and choose which egg they would have for breakfast - freshly laid - it doesn't get any better than that!!! Patty the host is warm and funny and is more than happy to take you on a walking tour of the property, including a visit with the cows, horses and Andrew the peacock - the kids were mesmerised! We had a very relaxing (does this ever exist with children) stay and will be re-visiting - judging by the guest book, there have been many return visits. This place is perfect not only for families, but for a romantic weekend - I am booking my mum in to look after the kids in winter so that my husband and I can enjoy just that!
