Having visited Nanga over 20 years ago it was sad to see how tired and run down it had become. The caravan bay was adequate with a 50 metre walk to get rain water for drinking and cooking and the attached shelter thatching was worn and broken. There was 24 hour power provided by a generator situated between the two camping areas. It was very noisy and ear plugs are reccommended, however this is the only power supply.
The gents showers have a problem in that hot water only was available in 2 of the 4 showers, very hot water. The urinal was out of order. The ladies ablutions were basic and clean.
The pool and thermal spa were a pleasure to visit.
The staff were pleasant and helpful and happy to respond to any questions we had. A basic meals menu is available for lunch and dinner.
The covered dining area is aso an internet hot spot and this is free!
A beautiful area which could benefit from a little care from the owner who does not appear to care. (Date of experience: Jul, 2011 )
