Great Hideaway
by charlietravel (prior to 01/07/2010) As a OTHERThis is a great spot with lots of great camping spots to choose from. Primitive - no power but the peace and tranquility make up for it. Friendly, hospitable and knowledgeable staff. Some weekends you might be the only one there. Long weekends pretty busy. Beautiful river. Pets are more than welcome and our dog loved swimming at Micalong Creek. Only 1 hour from Canberra so we stayed for a week and spent a day in Canberra and a day in Tumut. Couldn't have had a better time!!!
