Great rooms and food

My wife and I stayed here on a round trip of Tasmania. Our stay was very comfortable and extremely affordable. The motel is just outside the business centre, an easy stroll really. The food was probably the best part of our stay, I think we ate either in the restaurant or from the room service just about every night of our stay.

Getting ThereWhen approaching from Hobart/Devonport [or Launceston Airport] along the main highway, turn right into Howick Street [very first set of traffic lights as you enter Launceston]. Proceed to the T Junction, turn left into High Street. Drive approx. 1 km to the first set of traffic lights, turn left [York Street] and the Country Comfort is just around the corner. We are also displayed on all major GPS units. THINGS TO DO: Opposite the Olympic size swim complex. Close to tourism attractions, Aurora Football Stadium, Cataract Gorge, Gold Mines, Caves, Wildlife [Tasmanian Devil] Sanctuaries, Old Seaport Marina (Restaurants and Cruises), Tamar Valley Wine Route, Platpus Park, Roman Baths, Seahorse World, parks, golf courses and playgrounds.
