The toilets, although large, most of the showers and toilets were closed off with only 3 available and one of those toilets was blocked. We had a group of six women, so with the 3 showers available we had to wait. The toilet block was not clearned the entire weekend and one of the remaining two working toilets had run out of loo paper. When we went to the office to report the blocked loo, and the lack of loo paper we were abused. Although the park was very quiet, there was little hot water, again when we reported this fact we were not given an apology but told it was beyond their control and that the "kids" just stand under the shower and waste the water. Sorry but we didn't see any "kids" there that weekend.
The overall feeling we got from the weekend was that they did not want us there and we were an inconvenience. When we went into the office to report the faults there was only a very child there and he then had to find the manager - it took about 30 minutes of waiting before he responded and then he was quite rude.
I certainly felt embarrassed that I had chosen that venue for what was to be an enjoyable girds weekend away, the staff certainly die not make us feel welcome one big. When we requested a receipt for our cash payment it was not well received.
I would definately not recommend this caravan park even though the location on the lake is perfect. Their customer service is very bad and they need some lessons in being polite and welcoming. (Date of experience: Aug, 2010 )
