Had lunch there and found the food amazing. Being February, it was very quiet with only a few diners, but well worth the visit. My partner was unsure about a starter and when we requested a "taster" it was no problem at all.
The two soups available, Vegetable and Cockle chowder were both excellent and we both enoyed Bream en Papillote with the richest mashed potato I have ever tasted. House wine was very good too.
There was only one disappointment: Although very quiet, one of the starters - Garlic prawns, which we both would have chosen, was already off the menu at only a little after 1.00pm. Maybe they were being saved for the evening diners? (Date of experience: Feb, 2010 )
