On arrival everything looked ok. It was only once we entered the chalet door that the real truth hit us. The immediate thing that was apparent was the musty, damp smell. The whole appearance was very dated. The dcor, kitchen, living room could all do with being modernised.
The kitchen dishes and glasses we dirty and the chopping board looked like it had been through a major war. We did not venture to examine what was under the throw over the settee.
The front door had to be kicked to gain entry as it was warped and it leaked. The back door had a 5mm gap around it. In the main bedroom there was evidence of water entry in the ceiling. On the second morning this had turned into a 3 foot long damp patch extending a foot into the room. We were due to stay 3 nights but after the damp appearing we decided enough was enough.
