Don't know what that last negative reviewer was going on about, are you sure you were at Moonlight Bay Resort? Anyway, this is my review: From the minute you arrive and are greeted at reception with the lovely smile of co-owner/manager Lyn Cadan regardless of how late you have arrived to the prompt service of the most trivial of requests by Terry Cadan Lyn's partner (yes Terry does keep a watchful eye on his guests as he is maintaining a high level of professionalism ensuring guests are okay) you are made to feel at home with that special something. For me its seeing the stress wipe away from my husband's face the minute we arrive to seeing my two teenage daughters' excitement once they find out there is free wifi in the room (of course this is a priority for them at their age! ) and the view from the room out to the alluring outdoor heated swimming pool which is set around beautifully landscaped grounds - you immediately know you are in for a truly amazing holiday. So after a yummy lunch from one of the plethora of restaurants (all walking distance from the resort) to a long walk on the beach which is across the road we return back to the resort we sit outside on the balcony, open a bottle of sav blanc and mingle with the other guests and share our stories and talk about how we wished we could all stay longer and all this whilst our children are happy doing their thing and we doing ours - everyone is happy. Moonlight Bay Resort has been our choice of stay whilst staying in the Peninsula on countless of occasions and we would not stay anywhere else. We have travelled the world extensively and have stayed at 6 star hotels but they are all lacking the warmth that comes with this resort.
