Cobra Station

I only made a flying visit, camping for one night but it was a very enjoyable experience. Shared dinner that night with the hosts, a calm employee and 4 Belgian tourists, which made for a very pleasant evening. Prices are more than acceptable, cheaper than I expected given the extreme isolation. I'll be back to take advantage of the local tours they run and to explore the country further. I checked out Mt Augustus station and it looked like any other caravan park, whereas Cobra had the feel of authentic station homestay about it. Cobra has rooms for those who don't want to camp and the showers and toilets are more than good enough.
