Great park if you have kids

Lovely place, very spacious, has a push bike track for kids in the middle of the park! Which is great if you have kids. Not so great if you are going camping to get away, enjoy the sounds of nature and peace and quiet. We only went once, couldn't sleep due to noise. Generators ran until sometime after 10pm, kids playing and running around late at night. Speed for push bikes should be under 10 k's as with vehicles and no bikes after dark maybe, and definitely no Generators after 9pm. But other than the noise, perfect for a young family where the kids can meet other kids and have fun.

A group of us have been going to Bigriggen for many years with our children we have not been for the last 5 or so years I got on line this morning to book for xmas and this was the response that was sent to me Please note: Bigriggen Park is a Family camping ground and does not accept group bookings comprising of adults only. There will be many families with young children camping here and from experience we have found that groups of adults are not compatible with families with young children. We suggest you find an alternative camping ground that caters more for singles etc. Please understand we are not judging you personally but have to protect the safety and quiet enjoyment of the majority of our campers. I could not believe what I was reading we are very mature adults in our late 40's and 50's who enjoyed the camping ground. So I'm just letting the seniors nomads know not to bother going there. I have never heard of anything like this before, they have no idea what sort of people we are
