We didn't get what we asked for (ocean view room with the max brenner package), we got a river room and had to go downstairs to ask the receptionist for the package.
Second night, we were driving back from having dinner at the casino to be told that we had to double park in their tiny carpark. We went upstairs to reception to query this more and we got the response, "you have to leave your keys at reception so our staff can move your car if the car blocked in needs to get out & yes, you will still need to pay for parking as it's still on our property." As if we were going to hand over our keys! There's also a sign out the front of their carpark that says, we are not liable for any damage to your vehicle, so there was no way we were going to take that risk. We waited til a park was freed up and took the spot.
Another bad thing was how slow the lifts take to get to your floor. There's only 2 and only 1 of the 2 goes all the way down to the carpark so that was also inconvenient.
The buffet breakfast was good, the check in and out ladies were accommodating and the location is very close to Cavill Ave however, these aren't enough reasons to make me want to stay here again.
The worse thing is, I'm actually from Qld (Brisbane) and I left with a bad impression so imagine what people from other states or overseas think of this place!! (Date of experience: Nov, 2009 )
