For me this is one of the top picks in the Hunter, and I've been there a few times now! The cellar door area includes the HH wines you'll see in many bottleshops, but you can also be surprised by a few that aren't available elsewhere. There wines are extremely keenly priced and consistently good.
The other big attraction during the day is there coffee shop area. It's a comfortable and relaxing place for a break, and they know how to make a good coffee.
I've only been at the restaurant for a wedding. From memory the food isn't as keenly priced as the wine, but then it's a stylish experience, with excellent food and atmosphere. Not surprisingly, the wine list is also a ripper. (Date of experience: Apr, 2009 )
