We had a few of our guests and family book rooms at Santai for 4 nights on the weekend of our wedding. The resort is good to look at but that is about it. Our guests swipe cards continuously didn't work (staff saying things to them that their bodies must be magnetised!!!), and on the night of the wedding 2 groups of our guests had to remain in the foyer for over 3 hrs. The after-hours number was tried from the foyer, and several people's room with no luck. We then had to drive to another resort at 2am in morning to get security to help us...
The restaurant is independently owned and is not open very often. I couldn't even get a cocktail to have by the pool on the Sunday afternoon to relax, and if you want something to eat you either have to get in your car or walk 20 minutes to a Domain cafe that they own! These are just a few things that went wrong, and when these issues were taken up with higher management they were defensive and not apologetic.
