Located right next door to Panthers World of Entertainment. We couldn't really complain about the motel itself; staff were friendly & rooms are standard but spacious enough for 3 of us (couple with 1 teenage son) & very clean. The pool however; is very small for the amount of rooms & needs updating. We used to live in Penrith & were impressed by Panthers new refurbishments but sadly found it to be lacking the friendliness it once had. We also thought the club was a bit boring during the week offering no entertainment except poker machines & keeping the kids entertained proved quite expensive (aqua golf was a hit though). The hotel didn't have a buffet breakfast but Panthers did so we paid extra for it on our first morning there & wish we hadn't as it wasn't very nice & was way over priced considering the lack of variety & standard of food. Panthers staff were also not very helpful or friendly. All in all; I think it's a good place to stay for overnight accommodation only ... if you have a function to attend there, want a night out (of a weekend) or if know people in the area who you want to catch up with. Otherwise; it's just like any other standard motel ... nothing special. (Date of experience: Jan, 2010 )
