Lovely little caravan park on the main road coming into Cooktown. We stayed here because it is pet friendly. The amenities are clean and tidy, they have happy hour every evening for those keen to swap stories and it is just 1.5 km from town centre. We've heard from other travellers that the sand flies are bad nearer the coast. The managers are very helpful and friendly. They have a fish monger who comes in each afternoon selling freshly caught fish.
