Southlands Guest House

Four of us stayed at the Southlands Guest house over this Easter. After checking all the reviews and a few emails to Karen and Steve we decided it was the place for us. Well, we were definately right. The place is spotless, shines like a sixpence, warm, bright and airey. Karen, Steve and family make you feel very much at home and I could have chatted away with them all day. The food was faultless and plenty of it...all four courses of it. Fresh fruit and cream to start with, cereals of your choice, porridge, full english breakfast with good quality sausages and bacon, toast with jams, marmalades or whatever you wanted. Nothing too much trouble. The bedding and towels were beautiful. Flannels, towels thick and fluffy, plenty of soaps, shampoo, etc. Good selection of refreshments, good quality biscuits and fresh flowers. What more could you ask for? Thank you Karen and Steve.
