Cockle Cove

We were delighted by the very warm welcome we received from the hosts on arriving at the lovely cottage we stayed in. Once inside, we felt completely at home thanks to the well maintained facilities. While there is a bay nearby, we didn't spend much time there. Instead we used the cottage as a good base to explore the Bay of Fires, St Columba Falls and the dunes and coastal walks around St Helen's point, which were an easy driving distance away. We would happily recommend the cottage as a comfortable place to stay in an area with plenty of places to visit. (Date of experience: Feb, 2010 )
