Was there a couple of years ago and found it a little run down and quite honestly couldn't find myself taking the time to write a review let alone recommending the Park.
However I heard that it had changed and had new owners so I dropped in for an overnight stay.
I was made very welcome by the new owners Peter and Carolyn Foeken who have done a wonderful job in cleaning up the Park yet still keeping its rustic old charm.
The camp Kitchen is one of the best I have come across, is well equipped and you can even cook a roast in there. I might add that I did that with the help of a few 'new' friends over a couple of ice cold beers.
Anyway, I took the 3 nights for two offer and finished up staying a week. Note that that only applies for the first third night but is good value.
I will definitely be going back to see how the garden is going.
Cheers, John Dwyer
