Gloucester Park

Where else can kids run freely around in a safe environment whilst mum & dad sit back and have a drink watching the horses whizz by. I loved seeing hoards of barefoot kids lined up against the railings waving at the horses. Getting up close and personal makes it all the more enjoyable... and then there's the view across the track, past the huge palm trees to the Swan River, and Burswood beyond. There's live entertainment between races, bouncy castles, plenty of places to eat and drink and grandstands or lawned areas to watch from. (Date of experience: Feb, 2010 )
