Long Jetty Caravan Park

Our experience of Long Jetty Caravan Park was that it was neat and tiday. Although the showers and toilets were old on most days they were clean. Depended on the cleaner. Mainly caters for permanents with little regard for tourists. We had booked for two weeks but because of noise, i.e. electric planes, nail guns, loud music played for about 9 am in the morning.
Subsequently we felt the quiet holiday we had asked for was not happening and decided the next day to leave. As I said fishermen are totally catered for and can tow them out anytime even 2.30 am. I wouldn't recommend the park to anyone who wants a quiet holiday. Although you can take your dogs they need to be on a leash all except the owners and managers dogs. Sort of double standard there. It was not worth our time or money and we didn't get the holiday we were assured by the manger we could have a "quiet and restfull setting". (Date of experience: Jan, 2011 )
