New resident owners Ryan and Katrina Phillips are slowly improving what was once a tired park. Renovations to the shop/office are well under way. There is a new campers kitchen near the front of the park. The shop offered fresh snapper one night and crayfish the next. Basic groceries are also provided at the shop. Land has been cleared and is now grassed and fresh. Most of the sites are now level, but take a couple of pine lengths just in case the site isn't quite level. Bore water clear and of good quality/quantity. Sites are now marked and allocated. Pensioner discounts are offered. $25 2A for a powered site. No dog bond (as in the past) and yellow poo bags were provided outside the first ablution block. The owners set up an open fireplace with fire wood for a night around the fire. No mobile phone but a telephone box is situated at the entrance to the park. Wonderful place to stay for peace and quiet. The sound of the ocean rolling onto the beach during the night was bliss. Recommended for fishermen, beach driving, local tourist base, or people who just want to relax. (Date of experience: May, 2011 )
