Queen Mary Falls Caravan Park

The Queen Mary Falls Caravan Park is in a great location, being directly opposite the falls. There are camping sites as well as cabins. As an extended family we hired a cabin. All in all, a great place to stay. The birdlife was amazing and the log fires most welcome. The only surprising part was that cleaning of the bathrooms takes place from 7.15 am to 7.45 am, during which showers may not be used. Having stayed at numerous camping/cabin parks over many years I have to say this is the first time that I have experienced this. This 1/2 hour is in the middle of the time that many people would need the showers - it's like closing the breakfast room from 7.15 to 7.45. How odd that the bathrooms are not cleaned at any other time. Other than this experience, we had a great time. (Date of experience: Apr, 2010 )
