Well, the price was right. $90 for 2 people. But that was about all they got right. We were asked if we would like to stay in the new section, or the old. When asked what the difference was, they replied "new appliances". We decided that yes, we would like to stay in the new section. Well, I'd hate to see what the old section looked like! Furniture was old. No phone. No tissues, no iron/ironing board. The glasses in the fridge were filthy. There was no clock radio. (well actually, there was some ancient looking radio built into a bedside table, which didn't work. Does that count?) The hand towel in the bathroom had stains all over it. We got no sleep because the walls were so thin you can hear people going to the toilet next door, or having a spa bath at say, 4.30 in the morning. More rooms than there were car spaces. Gee, I could go on, but I can't be bothered.

Our apologies if the guest was not happy with the accommodation provided. We have refurbished the left bank of the Motel and the question should have been refurbished section or not. The phones have not been replaced due to vandalism and usage was minimal to warrant replacement now that most people have mobiles. Ironing Boards and irons are available at reception on request. The filthy glasses in the fridge, no tissues and stained hand towel has been brought to the attention of our room attendants who have been put on notice that this is unacceptable. We are still in the process of replacing the bedside tables and will provide new clock radios. Our walls between the units are solid double brick walls with plaster on battens, therefore transfer of sound between units is minimal. Occasionally some guests have no consideration for other guests in the Motel and create an abnormal amount of noise. Any guest who finds the noise disturbing should contact reception or our on site manager who will gladly attend to the problem. The motel policy is that Spa's are not to be used after midnight. Ample onsite car parking is available with additional car parking near pool and in front car park. Since new management we have had over 5,000 guests and 99.9% of our guests have had a positive experience.
