Rose Tree Cottage Restaurant & Tearooms

We ate at this restaurant for my birthday, whilst the food was good, the chef was let down by the poor service, well lack of service by the waiting on staff. When approached to order desert, (I have to say this was the first time we were approached following recieving our main) I explianed to the manageress that no-one had been to check our meal was ok, her reply was a simple, "sorry, would you like a desert?" hence we promptly paid the bill and left. Not a word was said to us as we left. We would not recommend this restaurant.
