Wellow Trekking Centre

Having taken my young children (both under 12) for a pony ride at Wellow we experienced rude and unhelpful staff, both adults and young girls on this particular day. We were made to feel very unwelcome and the centre is poorly orgainised. Parking is not a easy feat here with people, horses and children in the middle of the entrance. Horseboxes parked in through fares and generally a very public UNFREINDLY place to visit. One is assured by others, that there are better, more professional run centres in the surrounding area who offer a friendly and quality experience of pony riding. The pony my youngest child rode was verging on the lame side, it constantly kept stopping as if in pain and did not want to walk. My eldest daughter was refused a ride as she was too old (12) to ride!!!!! Needless to say we will not ever return to Wellow Trekking Centre or recommend it to friends or family who want a simple uncomplicated pony riding experience for their children.
