Burke & Wills Roadhouse

I was cycling around Australia solo for charity but was told that I had to buy my own water. The food was overpriced and tasteless. Cane toads abounded in the toilet bowls. I paid a lot of money for a dirty room with only a bed and a TV, yet 4 male cyclists (not cycling for charity and with a support car) were given free rooms a few months later. (Date of experience: May, 2008 )
