We stayed at Strahan Village in a hilltop harbour view executive room for 2 nights. Although this was the priciest room for our whole 15 nights in Tasmania, this was the worst room we had. It was old, dingy, no view unless you went outside and walked to the edge of the grass. Very noisy all the time. During the night a door in the corridor going to the outside was left open and banged continuously in the wind. We phoned down to reception to advise and a very unhelpful, unfriendly girl listened to my husband, said "yeh, okay" and hung up. We waited 3/4 hr, no-one came, so we propped the door open to stop the noise. it was still like this when we checked out a day later!!!! Would not stay here again. not worth the rates charged. Good location but that's it.
