I went on the recommendation of "The Age" newspaper's review of The Eyrie giving it 18 out of 20 for a great stay. I chose the villa and everything met our expectations and more. We were warmly welcomed and then left in peace to enjoy the luxury accommodation, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fine linen in the bedrooms and designer spa bathroom.
All cares evaporate as you relax in complete privacy surrounded by beautiful native gardens whether viewed from the plate glass windows or the expansive deck.
If you want to leave the peace and luxury of your villa, the whole of the Inverloch coast is there to explore, especially the mini-Great Ocean Road to Cape Paterson. We enjoyed a picnic lunch at Eagles Nest exploring the rockpools. The laid-back charm of Inverloch will have me making a return visit.
