After exhausting accomodation options and finding all cabin/self-catering accomodation was booked out, we settled on the Snow Goose (non self-catering).
We have found previously that the restaurant/bistro scene is not ideal in Adaminaby .... none the less we were happy enough with the meals at the SG this time. The room was basic and the single bed I slept in a bit short for me but again it was what it was which means clean and basic. The room rate a little too high for the general standard, negotiate a better deal outside the peak season would be my tip. But then there are lot more acccomodation options in the Adaminaby area as we started to discover. The SG is however a good backup if you really need somewhere to stay and be in town. The Bakery Cafe across the road is fabulous if you are around between 8 am and 5 pm, too bad they are not open earlier and later!! (Date of experience: Aug, 2010 )
