Having heard so many great things about this place we were fortunate enough to visit last weekend (3rd July). Despite the full tables we were welcomed with open arms, good humour and a secret menu - the owner had been told we were coming and what type of food we liked and prepared a special menu just for us - and it certainly did not disappoint at all.
Entree, main and dessert were served promptly and with a joke.
A great afternoon was had by all and there were plenty of other patrons who appeared to be enjoying themselves.
I find it hard to believe anyone could have a bad experience at the Avoca Tea House. We will be going back next time we are in the area.
If you get the chance you need to visit and sample this unique dining experience. :-) (Date of experience: Jul, 2010 )
