The station is located east of Cairns Far North Queensland, past Dimbulah and situated at the edge of the escarpment of Mount Mulligan. Lots of things to do such as bush walking, gold panning, birdwatching, visiting historical, fishing, swimming etc.
However, if you want to camp at the Station make sure they have the "silent" generator going. During our stay the power supply to the station was the generator that was extremely noisy and operated ad hoc any time day or night. While the Station Owner was gracious and apologetic the Caretaker was abrupt. If you don't like it leave and anyone who complains is not welcome back!
If you are thinking of a nice quiet stay in the bush - think again.
The area is certainly worth visiting but look elsewhere to camp.
Access is gravel and some creek crossings during the wet season months. However access OK for a conventional vehicle but always check first. (Date of experience: Jan, 2012 )
