Spring fever hits national attractions

Some of Canberra's most popular national attractions will be at Floriade.

• Experience the visual and aromatic beauty of the Australian landscape in spring with the Australian National Botanic Gardens' (ANBG) Five Senses Garden display featuring stunning Australian native plants.
• Marvel at the amazing 15 tonne sand sculpture recreation of the Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House and be inspired to visit one of Australia's most significant heritage buildings.
• Try on a friend's face, test your reaction time or discover other exciting interactive activities at the Shell Questacon Science Circus Exhibition. This award-winning travelling exhibition celebrates 25 years in 2010 and features some of Questacon's all time favourite exhibits.

• Let your imagination run wild with Filmtasia: Aussie Shorts, a selection of some of the best short films from the National Film and Sound Archive at Floriade NightFest on Thursday 23 September.

Da Vinci Machines Exhibition

Step back in time and experience the incredible inventions of Leonardo da Vinci as they are brought to life at this ticketed event during Floriade. This interactive exhibition features amazing flying machines, nautical, hydraulic and architectural innovations and incredible war machines. The exhibition runs from 11 September to 14 November.
