Ryanair's 2012 bikini charity calendar drew complaints of sexism – but next year's offering takes it to a new level of raunchy.
The Irish budget airline has again produced a calendar featuring some of its female flight attendants in skimpy bikinis and saucy lingerie. Money from in-flight sales of the €10 (AUD $12.60) calendar will go to Polish charity TVN Foundation.
Complaints regarding risqué advertisements for this year's calendar led to the UK's Advertising Standards Authority canning the promotional campaign.
The website says the 2013 version is "hotter than ever, featuring the sexiest Ryanair cabin crew stunners in swimwear and lingerie".
Airline spokesman Stephen McNamara says the aim is to raise up to €100,000 (AUD $126,000) to help the TVN Foundation buy hospital equipment for children suffering from cystic fibrosis.
"Ryanair's gorgeous cabin crew are pleased to once again strip off for charity and this year they have selected TVN Foundation who help a range of causes across Poland."
The flight attendant models chose the foundation as the calendars benefactor from more than 450 applicants.
