Mooloolaba is a local Sunshine Coast town by the Mooloolah River that boasts coastal and river frontages. It has an all-weather port which is home to the Auckland-Mooloolaba and Sydney-Mooloolaba Yacht races.
The town is a harmonious mix of beach, harbour, parks and shopping with prime coastal strip panoramas, and is the home base of a trawling fleet and pilot station for Moreton Bay River, coastal, deep sea and game fishing.
With its international standard marinas and quality restaurants, Mooloolaba is a favourite anchorage for ocean cruisers and game fisherfolk. Surfers can also have their moments on the Mooloolaba waves or at nearby beaches such as Alexandra Headland, Coolum and Maroochydore. The scenic gems of the Sunshine Coast hinterland are just a short drive inland.
There is a range of restaurants available from beachfront cafes to fine dining and a huge range of accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets.
