A recent survey by Skyscanner has revealed the best inflight meals in the Asia Pacific region.

Revealed: Which airlines have the best inflight meals
Rating:

Skyscanner has revealed the results of its first Asia Pacific Airline Food Awards, with Tiger Airways, Singapore Airlines and Garuda Indonesia rated the best for in-flight meals by a panel of travellers.

More than 200 travellers and bloggers from across Asia Pacific were recruited as food critics, with the panel rating their in-flight meals based on taste, presentation, choice and, for those assessing the low cost airlines, the value for money.

Tiger Airways triumphed in the 'Low Cost Airline' category, beating off competition from fellow Singaporean budget carrier Scoot, AirAsia, Korean airline Jeju Air and China's Spring Airlines who also made it into the top five ranking.

When it came to 'Long Haul' dining, Indonesia's national flag carrier Garuda Indonesia piped Korean Air, Singapore Airlines, AirAsiaX and Air China who completed the top five.

Skyscanner and the "more than 200 travellers and bloggers from across Asia Pacific" participating in this survey have obviously never travelled or heard of EVA airlines who fly out of Taiwan. EVA service and catering is excellent when compared with any of the Worlds' top airlines. We have flown and eaten on most of the first class airlines in the last 50 years and now only choose to fly and EAT with EVA. Barrington
