Would you like to get paid to travel the world and test waterslides? Yes? Well, you're in luck. Travel firm First Choice has posted a job description seeking someone to test their waterslides and pools around the world.

The six month contract will see the lucky applicant visit 20 of First Choice's Splash World resorts in exotic locations such as Majorca, Turkey and Egypt, where they will ride and rate the water slides.

Potential candidates wanting to make a splash have been advised that they must be fun-loving, passionate and enthusiastic, as well as 'mad about waterparks'.

The pay won't be that great, only $15,000 for the six months, but you will receive all expenses paid travel and accommodation, with a free seven night holiday for two as an added bonus at the end.

The position is being likened to the 'Best Job in the World', which saw a British man 'house-sit' islands in the Whistsundays for six months.

Luke Gaskins, Head of Holiday Innovation at First Choice, said: "This is an amazing job for one lucky person who'll get to escape the 9-5 and instead spend their days rating slides and pools in the sun this summer."

Previous slide tester Tommy, from Liverpool, travelled more than 108,000 miles around the globe during his four years in the role.

Applications for the position end February 28.
